There are works of art that have stayed with me since the moment I saw them, and these pieces have always been provocative. They are grotesque and uncomfortable to look at, such as the spider series by Louise Bourgeois, which inspired my most recent piece. Works that confront the senses can often generate the most reaction and conversation. My work is centred around this idea.
